Most of you probably had boo boo bunnies growing up, so you know how comforting they can be! It can be your child's best friend when they are hurt, and the good news is, they're really simple to make!
For those of you who have no idea what these cute little bunnies are...
They are made from a washcloth that is folded into the shape of a bunny. When your child gets hurt, there is a spot to put an ice cube in so that they can hold it on their "ouchy."
Kids love these little bunnies, so they would make a great gift to put in Easter baskets. They also work well as a get well gift for a sick little one, or as a bow on the top of a baby shower gift.

Washcloth (any color)
Rubber Band

Large white pom-pom or cotton ball
Wiggly eyes (optional)

Boo Boo Bunny Pattern
Step 1 Lay your washcloth out with one corner facing you (so that it looks like a diamond shape facing you rather than a square).
Step Two
Roll one corner up until you reach the middle.
Step Three
Turn the washcloth around and roll the opposite corner to the center.
Step Four
Pull the opposite unrolled sides of the washcloth together.
Step Five
Fold the corners that are together back to form a head and bunny ears. Secure with an elastic band (I used a pink one in this photo just so you can see it...you should use a regular clear or brown rubber band).
Step Six - The Finishing Touches
To complete your bunny, tie a bow around the elastic rubber band, glue a small pink pom-pom on for the nose and a white cotton ball or pom-pom for the tail. Add wiggly eyes if you want, but keep in mind the age of the child and whether they'll cause a choking hazard.
Boo Boo Bunny Poem
Place this poem and some candy inside a plastic egg and put it in the back of the bunny where the ice will go. It makes a cute addition to any Easter basket!
Boo Boo Bunny goes hippity-hoppity
Boo Boo's ears are flippitty-floppity.
His egg holds a special sweet treat,
He's bringing just for you to eat.
Save the egg, don't throw it away,
You may need it another day.
When you get hurt and have a boo-boo,
And you feel sad and go "boo-hoo",
Open the egg and put in some ice,
Boo-Boo's cold egg will help it feel nice.
This video will give you a visual example of how to put a one of these cute bunnies together. In this clip, she puts eyes on hers...it's completely up to you if you'd like to do the same. I never put eyes on mine because I'm afraid they'll come off and create a choking hazard, and they look just as cute without them. However, if you're giving it to an older child, you may wish to add them.
