Do you have a group that needs cheap Fathers Day gift ideas? Well, here is a great one! I helped my son's class make these for their Dads, and they were really simple and inexpensive.
These make great small Fathers Day gifts from kids, but they're also a perfect addition to a Fathers Day gift basket. Since tastes differ, select his favorite nuts for this project.
Items You'll Need:
Clear treat bags
Nuts
Paper (and printer-optional)
Stapler
Directions:
1. Fill clear treat bags (found at craft stores) with the desired amount of your selected nuts. If you do not have any treat bags, plastic baggies will work, too.
2. Use a word processing program to print "Dad, I'm Nuts About You!" onto plain or colored paper. Cut the paper width the same as the bag width, and fold it over to fit over the top of the bag (see photo above). If you don't want to use a printer, you can hand design your paper on the top.
3. Fold the paper over the top of the bag, making sure the bag is in the middle of the two folded sides, and staple it.
