Create your own drinks labels online for the fussy man in your life!

Creating a unique and thoughtful gift for that special someone can be difficult, especially if you're squeezed for time and don't have the necessary materials to hand.

Thankfully the web has proved a life saver for me recently with plenty of interesting DIY sites with creative suggestions that allow you to make bespoke gifts online whilst retaining your own creative stamp.

Stuck for what to give my brother (men can be particularly difficult to buy for when they don't even know what they want themselves!!) for his 21st birthday, I decided to create him some personalised beer labels.

Usually preferring to make things by hand, I've been put off using personalisation sites in the past as everything can come out looking the same even when it claims they're unique!

This one (punkdog.com) wasn't bad at all though as it allowed me to put in my own photograph (one of my brother), choose the label colour, message and title.

Easy to use, cheap and quick, the personalised beer labels went down a treat...as did the beer which apparently was quite good.

Don't have the materials to hand or the time - my advice is to make use of what's out there on the web!
