I adore frog baby shower invitations...there's just something about them. Frog invitations can be made gender neutral, and the designs you can create with this theme are endless!
Below you'll find three frog invitations that I created to give you some ideas. Follow the step-by-step directions, or use them as a starting point to create your own unique froggy invites!
Frog Baby Shower Invitation #1
Items I Used to Make this Invitation...
Green cardstock paper
Patterned scrapbook paper
white paper
Frog Stickers
Adhesive
Scissors/cutting tools
Directions:
Step One
Cut a piece of green cardstock paper 4.75" wide by 7.25" high. Fold the paper in half to create your card.
Step Two
Cut a piece of matching patterned scrapbook paper 4.5" wide by 3.25" high. Attach this sheet to the front of your card using adhesive glue.
Step Three
Cut out two 2" green circles using the cardstock, and two white circles that are 1.75" across. Glue the green circles down first, then stack the white circles on top and attach them. Put your frog stickers in the circles (I was able to find these boy/girl frog stickers in the scrapbooking section...they are made by a company called "Sticko Stickers.").
Step Four
Print out wording for the inside on a white sheet of paper that measures 4" across by 3.25" high. Glue it in and decorate with stickers for the final touch.
In this example I wrote "The Jones are Adding a New Little Tadpole to Their Family!" and put the shower details below it.
Frog Baby Invitation #2

Plaid scrapbook paper
Vellum
4 blue brads (floral shape)

To create the layers:
Cut a piece of yellow cardstock 4.5" wide by 5.75" high
Cut a piece of plaid scrapbook paper 4" wide by 5.25" high
Print your wording on a piece of vellum and cut it 3.5" wide by 5" high
Step Two
Layer the pieces and bind them together using a brad in each corner of the vellum. Decorate with frog stickers.
Frog Baby Shower Invite #3
Items I Used to Make This Invitation...
Yellow cardstock paper
Frog themed piece of scrapbook paper
Letter stickers
White paper
Frog Stickers
Step One
Cut a yellow piece of cardstock 5" wide by 7.5" high. Fold this paper in half to create the card.
Step Two
I made this frog cutout on the front by buying a regular sheet of frog-themed paper from the scrapbooking section and cutting out one of the frogs. It's attached with adhesive to the front, and I used sticker letters to spell the word "hop..." (on the inside of the card I wrote "...over to a baby shower for...").
Step Three
Print out the details of the shower on a white sheet of paper and cut it to 4" wide by 3.5" high. Glue it onto the yellow paper in the inside, and embellish with frog stickers.
