Yummy Kids Birthday Party FavorsThese are really simple kids birthday party favors that you can make in under an hour. They're simple and inexpensive, but kids LOVE them!
Items You'll Need:
Directions: 1. Place marshmallows on a flat surface, and insert a small pretzel stick into the middle of one round side. Make sure half of the pretzel stick is still sticking out to provide a "handle" for the treat. 2. Melt chocolate chips according to package directions. Be careful not to overcook the chocolate...it will burn! While you wait, pour your sprinkles onto a plate, and line a baking sheet with wax paper. 3. Dip each marshmallow into the melted chocolate, coating all but the round side that the pretzel is in. 4. Quickly (before the chocolate begins to harden) roll the chocolate-dipped marshmallow in the sprinkles. If done correctly, they should easily stick to the chocolate. 5. Gently put finished products onto the wax paper lined cookie sheet (chocolate covered round side down, pretzel in the air). Place them in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes to harden. 6. After the chocolate and sprinkles have set, put two marshmallow treats into a clear treat bag. Tie the bag with a ribbon at the top to seal it.
