Party Favors for Kids:
Tennis Ball Characters
These are the coolest little party favors for kids that I've ever done! You can make them ahead of time, or for more fun, have the kids make them by themselves during the party. When they're finished, they make a perfect change purse or place to carry small items in.
I originally made them for my daughter's fifth birthday party, and was amazed by the reactions from her guests! Every child there absolutely loved them. Who knew such a simple item could get kids so excited?
I decided to give the idea another try at my son's tenth birthday party. To my surprise, ten year old boys love them as much as five year old girls!
So, no matter how old your child is, and whether they are a boy or a girl, these will surely be the perfect kids party favor ideas!
Items You'll Need:
- Tennis Balls
- Decorations- google eyes, pipe cleaners, feathers, etc.
- Hot glue gun/glue sticks
1. You can choose to decorate these ahead of time, but it's more fun for the kids to design them when they come to the party. Either way, you need to cut the "mouths" in all of them ahead of time. Use a pair of scissors or a utility knife to make a slit across one side of the tennis ball. When you squeeze the sides of the ball, the "mouth" should open.
2. Lay out a variety of decorations for the children to use. Heat up your hot glue gun, and help them decorate! You can set out candy to let them fill their little characters up with.
