Smores Pops

These "smores on a stick" are so fun, and taste just like the yummy treat that we love around campfires! Place them in a clear treat bag, and they make perfect Valentines Day favors for parties or classrooms.

Items You'll Need:

  • Graham crackers
  • Marshmallows
  • Chocolate melts
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles
  • Cookie sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Stirring spoon


Directions:

1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

2. Melt chocolate in the microwave according to package directions. Stir frequently until smooth, and check often to avoid burning your chocolate.

3. Assemble the base by putting a square of graham cracker on the parchment paper. Stack three marshmallows on top (as shown in photos). Lay a lollipop stick on top of the graham cracker, yet under the marshmallows, about half way across the cracker (make sure to leave enough stick hanging off of the side).

4. When chocolate is completely melted, gently pour it over your graham cracker/marshmallow/lollipop stick base. Once fully coated, you can lightly tap the cookie sheet on your work surface to smooth the chocolate out. Before the chocolate hardens, add your sprinkles to the top.

5. Place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator for about 5-10 minutes to harden the chocolate. Remove it when fully hardened.

6. Flip your decorated pops over on the parchment paper (back side up). Gently spread chocolate over the back of your graham cracker to cover it. Place the cookie sheet back in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes.

Your finished! Place them in a clear treat bag and use a ribbon to close it. You've now made a great Valentine's Day favor!
